The Wealth Letter
Couple on bench by the sea

Dear Jeff,

Welcome to the December issue of The Wealth Letter.  Join us this month for our first Podcast in a Scotiabank series entitled "Find the Money".  We'll also take a look at changes to the value of the Canadian Dollar in our Currency Report, some Insurance Strategies that could "save your life", and a new Online Tool called the Retirement Readiness Assessment.  As always, I encourage you to call or e-mail me with any questions or comments you might have.  Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Insurance that could save your life
I was speaking to a friend of mine the other day.  His wife's Aunt just had a stroke at age 51.  She is going to suffer from paralysis down one side of her body for the rest of her life and they still aren't sure about the effects of the stroke on her brain.  The family has some significant financial hurdles ahead of them as the children are just getting ready for University.  They are not prepared financially to lose her income producing abilities.

If the same thing happened to you, would you be prepared financially?

I've attached a brief article here on Critical Illness Insurance and how it can help you during a difficult time like the one being experienced by this family.

In addition, please call or e-mail me for a quote.  It will take you 2 minutes and it will cost you nothing.
